•     Matt 28:18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”


God’s Mission = Our Mission

•    God is the one who does the commissioning, it is His mission.

•    The Father commissioned Jesus, Jesus commissions the Church.
      As the Father has sent me so I am sending you.
      John 20:21

As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.  My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message…     John 17:18-20

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.    1 Peter 2:9
